China and Russia have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation in maritime law enforcement, Chinese state media reported on Wednesday.
The agreement was signed by the Chinese Coast Guard and the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.
According to media reports, the agreement was signed in Murmansk and supports the countries' joint efforts to combat terrorism, illegal migration, drug and arms smuggling, and curb illegal fishing.
