My 2021

2021 flew by so fast. How will this year be remembered?

In January, the Russian Arbitration Center organized a training course on international arbitration, where I held three seminars. It would be very interesting to repeat such an event from time to time.

In February 2021, I was appointed as an arbitrator in a maritime dispute considered under the Rules of the German Maritime Arbitration Association.

This year, one of the arbitral awards on the dispute I considered was published in the international system JUS MUNDI.

I qualified as a mediator. A long-awaited direction of work opened for me.

On the MCIArb course of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, which ended in 2021, I was fortunate enough to meet Johnathan Lux, an internationally renowned mediator. Johnathan Lux inspired me to create a mediation center.

Thanks to my friends and with our joint efforts we created the Mediation Center Solis. I hope that our center will make a significant contribution to the settlement of commercial disputes in Russia.

A court case in a real estate dispute was won. The prospects of these case were very ambiguous.

Several important court rulings have been obtained, directing the parties to mediation in a dispute with a public law organization. This indicates the development of mediation in public law disputes.

This year, Rosreestr registered non-standard real estate transactions, including the phased release of real estate from various encumbrances in exchange for the execution of other transactions.

By the end of the year a contract for the supply of communication equipment was prepared. This agreement was special, as it was necessary to incorporate the standard rules of a foreign company and adapt them for Russian law.

All of this would not have been possible without the inspiration from family members, friends, teachers, colleagues and clients.

I am grateful to all of you for this unusual and amazing year in all respects. I wish you all a bright and happy New Year and peaceful holidays.
