Member of the working group of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation for the codification and improvement of civil legislation, which is preparing a new edition of Chapter 48 “Insurance” of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.

Since 2020, he has been a member of the Council of the Self-Regulatory Organization of Insurance Brokers - the Association of Professional Insurance Brokers (APSB), and since 2023 - an independent member of the supervisory board of a large federal insurance organization.

Author of two books on insurance law.

Participated as a co-author and leader of teams of authors in the writing of 14 more books on insurance law, reinsurance law, management, and in the preparation of three textbooks (“Financial Law”, “Commercial Law”, “Advocacy”).

In particular:

in 2007, in collaboration with L.N. Klochenko and under the general editorship of S. V. Dedikov - “Property insurance contract: civil legal aspects” in 2 volumes, 3 books;

in 2008, a team of authors led by S. V. Dedikov wrote the book “Refusal of Insurance Payment: Practical Solutions and Psychological Work”;

in 2009 in collaboration with A.V. Chub and under the general editorship of S.V. Dedikov, the book “Subrogation: implementation practice in an insurance company” was published;

in 2011, a team of authors under the leadership and general editorship of S. V. Dedikov wrote the book “Liability Insurance: Legal Support, Underwriting, Marketing”;

in 2014, in co-authorship with A.P. Artamonov, the book “Reinsurance Law” was published in 2 volumes;

in 2022 in collaboration with a group of specialists from the Research Center for Private Law named after. S. S. Alekseev, under the President of the Russian Federation, published the book “Essays on the insurance law of foreign countries”, together with A. G. Arkhipova. S.V. Dedikov was the scientific director of the team of authors;

in 2022, in collaboration with A.P. Artamonov - “Essays on the world history of insurance and reinsurance” in 2 volumes.

Author of more than 700 scientific articles and other publications on entrepreneurship, civil, insurance law, insurance economics and anti-legalization control.

He conducts teaching activities at the RANEPA under the President of the Russian Federation, at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, and in the system of advanced training for specialists of insurance organizations.

Since 2008, he has been teaching courses in insurance law and risk management at the Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation; in 2011-2012 taught the course “Legal Regulation of Insurance” at the Faculty of Law of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation; lectured on insurance law at the Peoples' Friendship University. Patrice Lumumba; regularly gives lectures, conducts original seminars on reinsurance and insurance law in Moscow and in various regions of Russia, conducted such seminars in Ukraine, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan; gave lectures at seminars on issues of combating the legalization (laundering) of criminal proceeds, the financing of terrorism and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
